I don't have a long history of racing, but it is something I really enjoy doing. Most of my paddling excursions consist of paddling fast down the river. I love the feel of exhuastion and fighting for every stroke. Sometimes it works out in your favor and sometimes it doesn't. I look forward to many more races in 2015.

Two years ago I bought my first carbon-fiber slalom boat. I enjoy the feel of racing through gates as it challenges me more than paddling class V whitewater ~ you cannot make one mistake. I just started racing slalom and am excited to continue participating in local slalom events when I can make it work with my schedule.
